GAME LOCATIONS. For the most part, the game will be set in the White Moon. Here are a list of locations inside the moon, for easy reference.
As mentioned on the FAQ:
The Moon is built a bit like a Stanford Torus, where people live on the 'inside' of the moon as opposed to the outside. Gravity pulls everything down towards the 'walls' of the moon, so one can look up and see the part of the moon that is directly opposite it. It's a bit trippy, but one gets used to it.
Only half the Moon is actively inhabited/has people going on it. This is acknowledged as the 'bottom'. The other half, the 'top', appears to be a rocky region. It is too polluted to be inhabited, and as a result there has been an edict forbidding people from trying to reach those peaks. It's too dangerous.
The Sanctum marks the centre of the bottom part of the Moon, The land around it is divided into four parts, one for each faction (or nation). The immediate area in the centre is an administrative zone, where people from all four nations can mingle as they wish. It's kind of unfortunate, but the areas closest to the Sanctum are the most affluent, with the less well-off people living in the perimeter.
The Moon has weather systems such as rain and clouds, as well as a small inland sea. There is a lot of physics warping in place, which is performed by the Sun. People can farm and keep animals in the Moon, and it's almost like life on another planet... except the sky is not blue. One can see through to the Badlands if they look up. Feel free to suggest small establishments or add your own player locations. Simply comment with a short description and a name to this post, and it will be added. Images are optional but highly encouraged.

ADMINISTRATIVE ZONE.
The Administrative Zone is where all four nations come together to mingle. The Sanctum is at the very centre of the Zone, marking the cartographical middle point of the Moon as well. The buildings here are mostly of the paperwork variety, with embassies and offices available should anyone need cross-faction arrangements. International meetings are also held here.
The Zone has a strict no-conflict policy. You can bring weapons, but fighting is expressly forbidden and will result in criminal prosecution by multiple factions.
The Sanctum A tall, elegant building of white marble. There are halls and offices on the ground level around a tower that stretches high towards the Sun. The navigational interface of the Moon is said to be found here, as well as the central control systems of many environmental sustainability circuits. It has the highest security in the Moon, but if you have a convincing enough case.... perhaps, a visit can be arranged.
Free Market An open-air market where merchants can display and sell their wares. The only truly international market in the Moon, it opens on Sundays and is free for any to visit. It is also highly guarded, so there is almost zero risk of getting your goods stolen or being shortchanged.
Faction Embassies There are four of these, each near the gates towards their faction territory. PCs can contact their faction leaders here if they wish, as well as get some assistance if they have a good reason for it.
International Court It's where criminals go if they break laws from different countries. Due to how small the population is, it's rarely used and has been half-converted into a record hall for post-Exodus logkeeping.
Observatory All nations are rumoured to have observatories in their territories, but this is the only one made absolute public knowledge. The Observatory is a building that extends deep underground, drilling through the 'wall' of the moon out into the surface. It is used by people from all nations, whether for research, sightseeing, or political purposes. LIGHT.
The Light faction has architecture closest to that of modern day. One can find neat buildings, paved roads, and electric street lighting. A small train line links areas of the faction from outside in, and there are buses that ply the busiest routes.
Town Hall and Grand Church Two buildings connected to each other. Town Hall is where the government meets and conducts their affairs, while the Church is staffed mainly by priests from all walks of life. As their god ruled over law and truth, priests also double as lawyers. If you have a dispute, it can be solved here. There's also a particularly large stained glass display of the Old World on one of the walls.
Arcadius Concert Hall This place can seat about five hundred people, and orchestras sometimes perform here. However, it is used only twice a week at the most often. Otherwise, it's kept under lock and key.
The Tesseract Named after a fictional fourth-dimensional state of matter, the Tesseract is a large collection of buildings that takes up as much space as the residential district. Due to the drastic population decrease, the schools of the Old World were incorporated into its research institutions. Young people nowadays often take on hands-on apprenticeships as opposed to listening to lectures. All the research here are government-approved, and are expected to produce results useful to the populace.
Knights' Cross Originally the name of the train station closest to the Sanctum, it's now used to refer to the entire area around the station. This is considered the busiest part of the Light faction, where most people work. The Library is also located here, as well as a wide variety of shops. BLOOD.
This faction is notable for having the most colourful architecture. Tall buildings are very rare, but most of these are built by magic, and thus there are many of them with fantastical forms. Some even float. The more prosperous streets may have lighting and other amenities, while the slums are usually in terrible condition.
Temples One notable thing about Blood territory is the sheer number of temples. Temples to small gods may be found on street corners, while gods who enjoy a larger following will generally have more lavish ones. These are also the go-to place for seeking a god's attention, whether to consult them or to enter in a pact.
Solar Temple The largest and most expansive temple in Blood territory. It was copied from the original Solar temple in the Old World using magic. Due to the status of the Sun Mother as the head of the Blood pantheon, the Queen's quarters are also here. The fires of this temple are lit at all times, often with incense and the smell of fresh sacrifice. For how bloody it is, it's also surprisingly safe. If anyone wishes to duel inside, they will need the Queen's approval.
Voyager The boat bay built on the side of the inland Sea that borders Blood territory. Fishing is popular, but there is a strict cap on the amount of fish that may be brought back each day. The beach next to it is also sometimes referred to as the Voyager Beach. This is also where the temples of the healer gods tend to be.
Avenue of the Sun The road pointing towards the 'rim' of the Moon from the Solar Temple. It serves as the gathering ground for important events. On non-event days, it's also where the upper class hang out, playing games of magical chess or a small bout of ball sport. SPRING.
Being the faction with the largest territory, Spring is also the most sparsely populated. The place is mostly farmland, with small clustered villages linked by roads. Getting to the further villages may require a lot of traveling time, as some roads are not well-serviced.
Jade Palace The ancestral residence of the Emperor and his family. The Empress stays here as well, if she's not on her travels. A small town has sprung up around the Imperial house, though after the Exodus it's comparable to the other villages in size. There is a distinct lack of luxury to Li-Xian's quarters.
Life Springs Located deep within Spring territory is the only natural hot spring on the Moon. Many nature spirits gather here, thus it is revered by the people and special permission is required to enter. It is also said to be where the Jade Dragon dwells, though none have seen it in recent years. ICE.
It is currently impossible for PCs to gain access to Ice native territory. However, they are able to visit Ice watchtowers built around the Moon. They are built out of dark stone, and usually tower (ha ha) over their surroundings. Dragon roosts are a staple of the topmost floor, while the ground level is usually the office of the roost keeper. Since the Ice faction also runs a trans-nation delivery service, they are the ones to go to if you wish to send something to a friend out of their country.
Ice faction PCs will be attached to a roost keeper and live on one of the towers. These towers are also a de facto place of political immunity... that is, if the keeper lets you in.
THE BADLANDS.
A desolate, rocky landscape outside of the City walls. It's filled with an invisible miasma that saps the energy of all who step into it, resulting in death if one does not hurry back to the safe zones. Player Characters are surprisingly resistant to this miasma, allowing them to venture outside.
Meteor Lake Discovered during the September event. A strange crystalline structure fell to the Badlands and resulted an impact crater west of Light territory, which was then somehow filled with water to create a crystal-clear lake. The lake and the monolith in its centre are named after a 'Meteor', a legendary falling star that has been described in fables and old stories.
The lake itself is 3m deep, and a fine layer of small crystal shards can be found on the lake bottom. The water as well as the area immediately around the lake is also surprisingly chilly. The monolith itself is a shiny black structure 80 metres tall, covered in ridges and grooves in a geometric pattern.
As of now, it's impossible to actually land on the monolith, as it has some sort of invisible force field covering it. When struck, the barrier will glow a brief blue before repelling whoever touched it back by a few metres. OUTSIDE.
The exterior of the White Moon has been mostly left untouched. It looks much like... a white moon, made from barren rock. You can exit with a dragon companion if you wish, but the outside is just as deadly as any other celestial body would be. Radiation, asphyxiation, meteorites - it's very easy to die if one is careless.
