These can range from simple fetch quests to complex puzzles that require inter-player coordination. And there will definitely be rewards. Upon setting out from the city gates, 9S and Nisaka will find themselves greeted by a desolate, rocky landscape. As the rumours go, there's absolutely no sign of life around whatsoever. No animals, no grass, just miles and miles of hills and valleys. There are some mineral deposits a few miles out, if 9S fancies a bit of ore. Otherwise it's terribly bland, though the duo might want to take pictures of important landmark formations for finding their way back.
As they progress further from the city, our two explorers will start feeling the miasma's drain on their strength. It's mitigated by being in proximity of the dragon, though. Pushing a bit further will reveal a stretch of land where the wind intensifies, so it might be safer to fly lower. A faint sort of electromagnetic signal is perceivable at this area. Although the signal presents itself as complete garble, it can be traced, and it leads deeper into the Badlands. However, there will come a point where Nisaka's dragon refuses to go any further. If they linger around that area, they may see moving shadows in the distance. It's hard to discern right now but they seem to take the shape of large beasts with metallic or crystalline body parts. it's not possible to attract their attention unless 9S fires something... If they're hit, they'll definitely come running to attack.
The two of them should not stray out too long, four hours is the hard limit before one of them will pass out.
