BOUNTY BOARD.
| BOUNTIES. Welcome to the Bounty Board! This is where you can find tasks or sidequests that your character can take on. These can range from simple fetch quests to complex puzzles that require inter-player coordination. And there will definitely be rewards. To accept a bounty, simply comment to it and state the characters who will be undertaking it. Then, submit a thread of your characters completing the mission before the deadline, and the mods will reply with your reward. Bounties that have closed will have their comments frozen. Players can also post their own bounties, under the comment header of the month they are submitted in. The form to use is below! QUESTIONS?
JUNE 2017

As newcomers (or foreigners), the prime directive suggested would be to befriend the locals. The leaders have agreed to set out some simple tasks to allow characters to integrate into their community. Show your strength and how you can be relied on as new residents to the Moon.
Which is basically: perform community service. Do a good deed for your faction and report it at the administrative centre. This can be cleaning up the street, helping a new store open, walking some kids to school, finding lost pets... really, as long as you can find a grateful local to vouch for you, you'll be clear.
PRE-REQUISITES.
None!
REWARDS.
A reasonable amount of money, enough to live off for a week. Some words of appreciation too, if that counts.
DEADLINE.
Always open.
ETC.
This is the tutorial mission.

One of the chicken farms in the Blood faction is experiencing a rather peculiar issue. Chicks are hatching with significant deformities, and it will affect their business in the future. Unable to solve the conundrum themselves, they've started asking for help. If you can help them restore their hens to their former glory, they will reward you with money and a decent bit of reputation.
PRE-REQUISITES.
None!
REWARDS.
A chick of your choice, as well as about $500 in money.
DEADLINE.
July 31st.
ETC.
You can ask them to dye your chick if you wish.

The Midsummer's Feast is considered the most important celebration on the Moon. In order to bring in the summer harvest before festival time, every man's effort counts. Helping out at one of the Spring villages to turn in the wheat and corn will surely help with their endeavours.
PRE-REQUISITES.
This involves a considerable bit of either physical labour or handiwork skill.
REWARDS.
Invitation to the party that you helped to put together. Though the more important reward would be reputation with both the spirits and the people. To show your respect for their culture means a lot to them, so bring your friends and work those muscles!
DEADLINE.
ICly July 15th. You can submit backdated threads until July 31st.
ETC.
You can also pick up some cooking skills for your character this way.

The Wintersmith has a personal interest in those who come to the Moon, so he's set a task for all of you. Venture out into the Badlands and scout out nearby terrain, in preparation for expansion of the city. The Badlands is filled with invisible miasma that saps characters' strength the further they move from the city walls, so they are highly encouraged to travel in groups. Dragons are highly resistant to the miasma, so they will carry your folks back in case everyone faints. You will be given basic film cameras to document your findings.
PRE-REQUISITES.
Your party must at least have one Ice faction member. Also, it is advised to not take any complex technology, as dragon screams can short out electronics. Not that dragons will scream easily, but...
REWARDS.
Reputation with the Wintersmith, which is... hard to earn compared to the rest. You will also be paid money in accordance with the distance you've managed to cover. Ice faction characters will receive something special for their dragons.
DEADLINE.
July 31st.
ETC.
Comment here and mods will arrange an exploration thread for you!

Given the foreigners' remarkable tolerance to the miasma outside of the city, they would be encouraged to venture out of the confines of its walls to explore the Badlands. The objectives here would be to bring back mapping information and samples from outside. Photos are the quickest way, but you can also bring back physical rocks or whatever strange things you encounter on your travels.
The hard limit for characters right now is 5 miles out from the city walls.
PRE-REQUISITES.
Exploration groups must be composed of two or more people, for safety reasons. You may ask a NPC roostkeeper to let a dragon accompany you if both of your characters are not Ice faction members. This can be handwaved.
REWARDS.
Reputation with the faction leaders, as well as monetary compensation depending on how much information you've brought back. Ice faction members will receive something special for their dragons.
DEADLINE.
September 31st.
ETC.
For an example of how the exploration results will be provided on an OOC level, refer to the July Badlands bounty above.

PRE-REQUISITES.
This involves a good amount of physical work.
REWARDS.
Reputation with the spirits and members of the Spring faction. Some of the more appreciative families will also bring gifts of food and handmade utilities such as clothes. You may net a plot clue when you have finished the bounty as well.
DEADLINE.
September 31st.
ETC.
You can also pick up some cooking skills for your character this way.

Some interested citizens of the Light faction have expressed interest in seeing the concert hall being used again. Their last performance was almost a month ago, and it's bound to be time for another... the problem is, most of the actors are only actors as their side jobs. Their main occupation, such as public service and driving buses, also need their attention. If one were to host a play or some sort of art again, it'll take a while.
PRE-REQUISITES.
Being a Light faction member will help, but it isn't compulsory. Be prepared to negotiate and work together with NPCs, willing or unwilling. Maybe you can show off arts from your own world, too.
REWARDS.
A performance! And a plot clue.
DEADLINE.
September 31st. If this bounty is completed, a show will be held in October.

OCTOBER 2017

Given the foreigners' remarkable tolerance to the miasma outside of the city, they would be encouraged to venture out of the confines of its walls to explore the Badlands (just like last month). The objectives here would be to bring back mapping information and samples from outside. Photos are the quickest way, but you can also bring back physical rocks or whatever strange things you encounter on your travels.
Characters can now use Meteor Lake as a rest spot, enabling them to travel further than last month.
DEADLINE.
October 31st.
ETC.
For an example of how the exploration results will be provided on an OOC level, refer to the September version of the bounty above. This will be largely a recurring mission, but with differences in minor areas.
no subject
At some time in October, players may be approached by a pale-skinned figure with a tattoo of an eye on their forehead. They will offer to purchase a shard of the glittering material that can be retrieved from Meteor Lake. They will buy as many as possible (as many as you are willing to sell) for a hefty price, enough for a character to get by with a week's meals. Asking about their intentions will give the answer of 'research', because every nation has a right to the crystals, and nothing else.
It should be noted that PCs will not remember the mysterious man's appearance save for the eye tattoo, as the NPC is in possession of strong confounding magics. If met with violence, they will throw a smoke bomb and disappear.
PRE-REQUISITES.
Your character must obviously be in possession of a crystal from Meteor Lake, though the obtaining process can be handwaved.
REWARDS.
This mission is plot relevant. Upon taking this bounty, you will be given some clues to seeking out the tattooed individual. Work together with your fellow players to track them down!
DEADLINE.
October 31st.
ETC.
Should your character agree to fund the tattooed man, this will open up an alternative plot path. However, do bear in mind that it also carries risks.

October is a somber occasion for those who remember the Exodus, for it is the anniversary of their world's fall. It is tradition amongst those of the Spring faction to light a candle inside the emptied shells of airgourd fruit and send it up to the heavens, in a way to honour the dead. Never mind that the sky is now a closed dome - the gesture still counts, right? Villages all across Spring will be lighting them on the date that would have been a full moon, and the Light engineers will tune down the sun-crystal in accordance to their wishes.
PRE-REQUISITES.
Your character will need to spend some time hollowing out the fruit and building it themselves. Bring a friend!
REWARDS.
Reputation with Spring members, as well as some lore clues.
DEADLINE.
October 31st. The lighting date will ICly be October 10th, but you can submit threads until the end of the month.

The Light faction has officially requested help with turning off the Meteor terminal for good. There's a key that can be used to deactivate it, which PCs can obtain from Lucius. The second task is to recover as much of the crystals inside of it as possible, and then transport it back to the Light faction area for sorting. Dragons will be provided.
PRE-REQUISITES.
Your character will be required to do physical work, but that's about it.
REWARDS.
Monetary compensation, and plot clues.
DEADLINE.
November 31st.

The Empress has made a request for a third of the crystals to be delivered to the Life Springs, deep within the Spring faction's lands. It goes unspoken that this will be used for the sake of the spirits - if pressed, they may reveal that the Old World harboured the largest crystal of them all, the source from which they draw their power. Clearly, a ritual involving these supernatural creatures will take place.
It's not a harmful one, that's for sure.
PRE-REQUISITES.
Again, physical work required, but that's it.
REWARDS.
Same rewards as above. The plot clue here will be pertaining to the Spring faction.
DEADLINE.
November 31st.

You can take both bounties, if you wish! Choosing one does not lock you out of the other.
