BOUNTY BOARD.
| BOUNTIES. Welcome to the Bounty Board! This is where you can find tasks or sidequests that your character can take on. These can range from simple fetch quests to complex puzzles that require inter-player coordination. And there will definitely be rewards. To accept a bounty, simply comment to it and state the characters who will be undertaking it. Then, submit a thread of your characters completing the mission before the deadline, and the mods will reply with your reward. Bounties that have closed will have their comments frozen. Players can also post their own bounties, under the comment header of the month they are submitted in. The form to use is below! Given the foreigners' remarkable tolerance to the miasma outside of the city, they would be encouraged to venture out of the confines of its walls to explore the Badlands. The objectives here would be to bring back mapping information and samples from outside. Photos are the quickest way, but you can also bring back physical rocks or whatever strange things you encounter on your travels.
The hard limit for characters right now is 5 miles out from the city walls.
PRE-REQUISITES.
Exploration groups must be composed of two or more people, for safety reasons. You may ask a NPC roostkeeper to let a dragon accompany you if both of your characters are not Ice faction members. This can be handwaved.
REWARDS.
Reputation with the faction leaders, as well as monetary compensation depending on how much information you've brought back. Ice faction members will receive something special for their dragons.
DEADLINE.
September 31st.
ETC.
For an example of how the exploration results will be provided on an OOC level, refer to the July Badlands bounty above.

The interesting find will be about four miles out from the safe zone gates, where they will find an abandoned dragon nest. Dragons are naturally resistant to the miasma, thus wild dragons nest outside of the city. Allen's dragon will make a beeline for the nest and scurry around it until they manage to dig up what might be a dragon egg. The nest looks long abandoned, drawing questions of where the parents might have gone.
At this point they may witness some sort of dark cloud on the ground some distance away. Should they investigate the cloud, they will find that it lies outside of the exploration safe zone. If they pursue it, they may run the risk of passing out.
Let us know if you would like them to continue, or return to the city!

If anyone passes out, their accompanying dragon will pick them up and attempt to fly away. It will not chase the party if they are airborne, instead returning to its previous spot and heading further into the Badlands.

Roger! We'll definitely be logging this out later and they'll be reporting that back. After yes attempting to fight it and overextending/having to be rescued by Allen's dragon. Being unprepared I'm going to go ahead and presume it'll have to stalemate like that.

Sounds good! Once you've progressed with the thread, submit it here and I'll write out the reward. o/

The interesting find will be about four miles out from the safe zone gates, where they will come upon a field of... something. Landing and examining will reveal that it's a field of small, transparent flowers. The flowers have four symmetrical petals on stalks, kind of like daisies. The sunlight shines through them, resulting in some sort of glittering property.
The flowers are fragile like glass and shatter when mishandled, but it is possible to pick a few carefully and bring them back.
After they wander around the landscape, it'll be time for them to return, lest they faint from the miasma. If either of them do, their accompanying dragon will be able to carry them back.
